- One 7-ounce container Giovanni Rana Basil Pesto
- 1 large French or Italian loaf, sliced on the diagonal into thin slices
- extra virgin olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, halved
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
- Toppings: - roasted cherry tomatoes - fresh mozzarella - fresh basil leaves - red pepper flakes - black olives - ricotta cheese - 1 medium zucchini - lemon peel

DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the broiler. Lightly brush the bread with oil and rub the surface with the garlic. Broil until lightly golden, 1-2 minutes.
- Spread a layer of Giovanni Rana Basil Pesto evenly over the bread, top with the other fresh ingredients and serve.
